El Bethel is a Bible believing church. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. Through the leadership of the Holy Spirit, it is proclaimed uncompromisingly. In doing this, the whole Gospel of Christ is presented, thus providing a preaching and pastoral ministry suited to meet your needs.
El Bethel is a Christ Centered Church. Sunday school is at the center of our church growth and incorporates the FAITH Evangelism Sunday School Strategy.
We have a tremendous children's and youth ministry which deals with topics of special interest and provides activities throughout the year. The major focus of these activities, and our recreation program, is to teach our children and youth about the Lord.
We also have a wonderful Senior Adult ministry (Our Jolly Seniors). Our Seniors are vital to us with their encouragement, faithfulness, and Godly wisdom. Our music program provides a place for everyone.We are busy at El Bethel, but not too busy to keep our proper focus. We are a Christ centered church and all of our ministries keep Him front and center so that all we do is done to honor and exalt our Savior.
El Bethel is a Mission Minded Church. We maintain a steady program of world missions by contributing consistently to state, home, and international missions through the Southern Baptist Convention. We have an active Women On Mission group that has a special project each month. We support such ministries as World Hunger, Piedmont Women's Center, Connie Maxwell Children's Home, Greer Community Ministries, Release Time, as well as other local, state, and national ministries.
El Bethel is a Friendly Church. We are a very informal church and you will enjoy the hearty welcome, friendly atmosphere, and the sincere interest shown in you. You will be greeted with a smile and a handshake and you will sense our Christian hospitality immediately.
